Service on the TRAX Red Line will be disrupted from Saturday, July 25, through Saturday, August 15, as crews perform maintenance and repairs.
Disruptions will affect the area between Historic Gardner Station and Fashion Place West Station.
During the project, a shuttle train will operate in both directions on a single track between Historic Gardner Station and Fashion Place West Station. Riders are required to transfer to or from the shuttle train at both stations.
Commuters should plan for delays of more than 30 minutes when using the shuttle train. To find alternate routes, riders can use the Transit app.
Nearby businesses and residents may experience vibrations, dust, nighttime lighting, and noise due to construction activity.
These improvements are part of ongoing efforts to maintain safety, reliability, and efficiency within the TRAX system. Regular maintenance is intended to improve service quality and minimize future construction impacts.
Regular TRAX service is scheduled to resume on Sunday, August 16.
