Provo High School athletics programs have announced upcoming schedules and competition dates for various seasonal sports. The announcements detailed a wide range of events including cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, and volleyball.
Cross Country Season Milestones
The fall sports schedule featured several key milestones for the cross country team, including the Pre-Region event at Mountain View on August 16 and the Region 8 Championship at Mountain View on October 3. The program also scheduled the 4A State Championship at Sugar House Park for October 28.
Football Matchups and State Competition
Football schedules were released for varsity, JV, and frosh levels. The varsity football team listed matchups including games against Green Canyon on August 15 and Timpanogos on September 26, with the state competition scheduled from October 24 through November 20. The JV squad had scheduled contests against Crimson Cliffs on August 21 and Uintah on October 8, while the frosh team listed a match against Bingham on October 14.
Golf and Soccer Fall Competitions
Other fall competitions included boys golf, which featured matches at Lakeside on August 11 and a state competition at Lakeside on October 8-9.
