Provost STEM Night offered an evening of exploration and creativity for students and families through a variety of hands-on activities.
The event featured interactive stations where participants could learn and create together, fostering curiosity and collaboration.
The Utah Office of Energy Development contributed to the event by providing engaging take-home activities, which included an interactive trivia wheel and a hand crank station.
Sixth grade students served as leaders by managing several robotics stations. These included Ozobots, where families used computers and markers to program robots, SpheroBots, which involved coding and controlling robots, and Robot Mice, where students built mazes and programmed mice to navigate them.
Beyond robotics, the event included a rock observation table, STEM vocabulary matching games, and a scavenger hunt focused on learning about important figures in STEM.
Organizers expressed gratitude to all participants who contributed to making the STEM Night a meaningful experience.
