The Secure Protocols at West Kearns and Gourley Elementary Schools have ended at the direction of law enforcement.
To reiterate, the protocols were initiated at the direction of law enforcement out of an abundance of caution due to police activity that was unrelated to the school. Thank you for your patience and support.

West Kearns Elementary and Gourley Elementary have entered a Secure Protocol at the direction of law enforcement. The protocol was initiated by law enforcement out of an abundance of caution due to police activity in the neighborhood near the schools.
Parents, please do not come to the school at this time. During a Secure Protocol, the outside doors are locked, and no one is allowed in or out of the building. School is proceeding as normal inside the building. To reiterate, this protocol has been initiated out of an abundance of caution.
