Edgemont announced a schedule of events for the week of September 14, according to a September 14 report. The week features several school activities, including a field trip, assemblies, and observances.
A 4th grade field trip is scheduled for 8:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16. Thursday, Sept. 17, is designated as U.S. Constitution Day. On Friday, Sept. 18, the school will hold School Picture Day and a K-6 Reading is Magic Assembly at 9:00 a.m.
Ongoing observances for the week include U.S. Constitution Month for Utah and Bike to School Week. Additionally, K-6 students will undergo Academice Reading and Math Testing throughout the week.
The Edgemont PTA is inviting community members to join the organization to assist with events and school support.
Looking ahead, the PTA Fall Extravaganza is scheduled for Sept. 25 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Other upcoming events include hearing screenings on Sept. 29, safe schools assemblies on Sept. 30, and various SOAR assemblies and the Utah State Read a Thon on Oct. 2. SEP conferences with early release are scheduled for Oct. 5, 6, 7, and 8, followed by a Community Council meeting on Oct. 9.
