Online re-enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year was scheduled to open on Friday, July 31. To ensure a smooth process, officials encouraged families to log in to their Focus Parent Portal accounts beforehand and reset passwords if necessary.
District guidance advised parents to use their own Focus Parent accounts rather than student accounts for re-enrollment. For assistance after July 29, the district recommended contacting individual school staff first to resolve account or re-enrollment questions.
The Granite Board of Education adopted a proposed budget for the 2026-2027 school year. This budget prioritizes teacher support, smaller class sizes, and funding for new state requirements regarding English language learners, preschool, and special education.
The proposal also addresses the financial impact of program eliminations, new unfunded mandates, and more than $12 million in state funding reductions experienced over the previous two years.
