Key improvements include the creation of a new diamond interchange on I-15 at Shepard Lane and a new noise wall on the east side of I-15 between Shepard Lane and Park Lane. The project also features a direct connection from 150 and a new roadway between Innovator Drive and 1500 West.
Multi-Modal Enhancements
The development includes significant multi-modal enhancements. A 10-foot shared-use trail will be built on the north side of Shepard Lane, accompanied by sidewalks on the south side. Additionally, a new multi-modal path will connect FrontRunner facilities on the west side of I-15 to Park Lane east of US-89.
Infrastructure and Roadway Changes
Infrastructure changes also involve the removal of the existing Shepard Lane bridge at I-15 and the construction of north- and southbound auxiliary lanes between Shepard Lane and Park Lane. During the construction period, daytime work is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with night and weekend work occurring as needed. Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures on I-15 and US-89, as well as alternating one-way traffic near Shepard Lane and I-15.

Other anticipated impacts include increased dust, noise, vibrations, and truck back-up alarms, which may cause minor travel delays.
