Quarterback Devon Dampier surpassed 6,000 career passing yards during the contest. Dampier noted that the offensive line was prepared for the various fronts and pressures presented by Arkansas.

Scalley identified seven penalties as a primary negative for the team, noting that administrative penalties like delay of game can be costly in late-game situations. Despite the penalties, Scalley praised the team's physicality and noted that the offensive line showed a relentless mentality.
Other individual highlights mentioned by Scalley included a 60-yard punt net from Orion and a successful two-point conversion on a swinging gate play. He also commended the work of Wayshawn Parker, who recorded over 100 rushing yards and has six touchdowns on the season.
