Amelia Earhart Elementary has announced the addition of Natalie Staley to its teaching staff.
Staley is currently a student at Brigham Young University, where she is working toward a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Arts Integration in the Classroom.
Staley's academic path began as a music education major before she transitioned to elementary education after discovering a passion for teaching all subject areas.
Prior to joining Amelia Earhart Elementary, Staley completed her second practicum at Franklin Elementary in Provo. During that time, she developed a connection to the educational approach and values of the Provo district.
Outside of her professional life, Staley enjoys playing piano, cross stitching, taking pilates classes, and staying active with pickleball. She also enjoys exploring new restaurants and eating wood-fired thin-crust pizza.
Staley holds a favorite quote from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. regarding the importance of education in teaching intensive and critical thinking, as well as the goal of intelligence plus character.
