Hana Mauga has been named the August employee of the month for Provo's Development Services Department. As a Certified Building Inspector, Class II, Mauga plays a significant role in the city's operations, having a hand in every building permit issued by the city.

In addition to her primary role, Mauga assists others within the department by helping with various events, including covering Planning Commission meetings when necessary. She also serves as a mentor to others within her division and throughout the department.
As an expert in the CityView program used for processing building permits and development applications, Mauga utilizes her understanding of various departmental requirements to solve problems through a holistic view of processes.
