Dixie Treks were scheduled for September 15 and September 16, 2026, according to a notice on the St. George website.
The scheduled programming for both September 15 and September 16 included four specific treks. The first trek was set for 8:00am to 10:00am and featured the St. George Tabernacle Attic and the Dixie Academy Building. The second trek was scheduled from 10:00am to 12:00pm, covering Watercress Springs, Old West Spring, and the pathway to the Quarry. The third trek was slated for 12:30pm to 2:30pm and included the Washington County News Building and Pioneer Court House. The final trek was scheduled for 2:30pm to 4:30pm, visiting Heritage Cove and the Escalante #2 Oil Well Disaster of 1935.
Participants in the Dixie Days event were required to acknowledge a waiver and release from liability involving the City of St. George.
