Sand Springs Elementary will host College Awareness Days on October 12 and 13, according to a September 29 statement. The event is designed to help students learn about college and explore future opportunities.
The activities for the event include a College I-wear-ness day on Monday, October 12, where students are encouraged to dress in their college colors. During lunch recess on that day, college visitors will be present.
On Tuesday, October 13, the school will observe a Career Ready day. Students are invited to dress like their dream job, though the school noted that masks or weapons are not permitted. Games will be held during lunch recess on that day.
