Toquerville City Council scheduled a special business meeting for August 11, 2026, to address a proposed property tax rate increase, according to an agenda posted July 22.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm at 212 N. Toquer Blvd, Toquerville Utah. During the session, a public hearing will be held to seek public input on the proposed increase to the property tax rate.
Residents can participate electronically via Zoom or watch a live broadcast on the Toquerville City YouTube channel.
The meeting will include a pledge of allegiance by Councilman Olsen and a statement of belief or opening prayer by Councilwoman Chamberlain. Individuals requiring special accommodations for the meeting may notify the City Office at least 48 hours in advance.
