Organizers expect a high volume of shoppers following the Miners Day parade. To accommodate the crowd, the event will feature a tote bag happy hour from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., during which shoppers can fill a library tote with as many books as possible for a flat fee of $15.
Sale Pricing and Proceeds
The annual used book sale offers various price points to ensure accessibility for community members. During the sale, children's books are priced at $1, while puzzles and games are $2. Adult paperbacks are also available for $2, and adult hardcovers are priced at $3.
For collectors, the selection includes rare and antique books which sell for $5. All proceeds from these sales are designated to support unfunded library needs, ensuring that the institution can continue to serve the community despite budget constraints.
