The Timpanogos School District Board of Education will hold three consecutive public hearings on September 9, 2026, to consider potential grade configurations for several schools, according to a notice published August 28.
The hearings will be held at the Special Education Building located at 350 N State St, Lindon, UT 84042. The first hearing is scheduled for 6:00 PM to consider a 9th-12th grade configuration for Mountain View High School, Orem High School, Pleasant Grove High School, and Timpanogos High School.
A second hearing, starting at 6:05 PM or later, will consider 6th-8th or 7th-8th grade configurations for Canyon View Junior High School, Lakeridge Junior High School, Oak Canyon Junior High School, Orem Junior High School, and Pleasant Grove Junior High School.
A third hearing, starting at 6:10 PM or later, will address K-5th grade configurations for 19 different schools: Aspen Elementary, Bonneville Elementary, Cascade Elementary, Centennial Elementary, Central Elementary, Cherry Hill Elementary, Foothill Elementary, Grovecrest Elementary, Lindon Elementary, Manila Elementary, Mount Mahogany Elementary, Northridge Elementary, Orchard Elementary, Orem Elementary, Parkside Elementary, Rocky Mountain Elementary, Trailside Elementary, Vineyard Elementary, and Westmore Elementary.
If the Board of Education approves the proposed changes, the new grade configurations would take effect beginning in the 2026-27 school year. Individuals requiring special accommodations for the meeting can notify Todd Dawson at 801-610-8548 at least 24 hours before the scheduled event.
