The Annie Taylor Dee School of Nursing has announced that it will host a site visit for the continuing accreditation of its Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. The visit will be conducted by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
A meeting for the site visit team is scheduled for 4:00-4:30 PM on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, in room 401C of the Marriott Allied Health building located at 3875 Stadium Way, Ogden, UT. A Zoom option is available for those requesting a meeting link via email.
Written comments regarding the program may be submitted to the ACEN via email at public-comments@acenursing.org or by mail to the ACEN office in Atlanta, Georgia. All written comments must be received by the ACEN by September 21, 2026.
The Department of Nursing Graduate Studies offers various ACEN-accredited programs for Registered Nurses holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. These include a 12-month online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with emphases in Nurse Educator or Nurse Leadership and Management.
Doctoral programs include DNP Executive Leadership, DNP Family Nurse Practitioner, DNP Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and a Nurse Anesthesia program. The Nurse Anesthesia program is currently undergoing a capability review by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, with an accreditation decision anticipated in October 2027.
The school also offers post-master's certificates in nursing education and administrative leadership. These certificates allow nurses with master's degrees to strengthen their roles through community-based residency experiences.
