The Moroni City Council is scheduled to meet on Sept. 17, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., according to a Sept. 15 notice. The meeting will be held at 80 South 200 West in Moroni.
The meeting agenda includes a request from Sara Gunnell regarding the use of the Opera House at a reduced rate for an event for NS High School. Additionally, the council will discuss and potentially take action to declare specific city property as surplus. This includes an 180,000-gallon water tank and property located at 40 South 200 West. The discussion will involve establishing auction parameters, minimum sale prices, and procedures for public disposal in accordance with the Moroni City Code.
Other items on the agenda include an activities update from Ashley Grundy, the review of meeting minutes from Aug. 18, 2026, and financial reports. Mayor Troy D. Prestwich will lead the meeting.
Council members slated to provide reports include Craig Draper, Thayne Atkinson, Cherrie Green, Jake Bagley, and Kevin Taylor.
