The Utah County Board of Equalization held a public meeting on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the Utah County Administration Building. The meeting was called to order by Commission Chair Skyler Beltran at 2:06 P.M.
During the meeting, the Board approved the minutes from the previous meeting held on July 22, 2026. The commissioners also approved the Assessor Approved Review Process Report dated August 10, 2026.
Further actions included the approval of classification changes for the 2026 tax year. The Board approved requests to change parcel classifications from primary residential to secondary residential, and from secondary residential to primary residential, as detailed in attached reports. Additionally, the Board approved findings from a hearing officer regarding appeals related to the Farmland Assessment Act or Urban Farming Act that were heard on July 16, 2026.
