LAYTON, Utah, Sept. 12, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A motorcyclist participating in the annual Fire Ride, created to memorialize fallen firefighters, died Saturday in a collision on U.S. 89 in Layton. The victim was a 52-year-old man from Tooele County, according to information from the Utah Highway Patrol.
