Helen M. Knight Elementary School in Moab has released its schedule and registration procedures for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. The school administration announced that registration through PowerSchool will open on Tuesday, July 28th.
Class placements for students will be provided during the PowerSchool registration process. While official class lists will be posted in the school offices on Wednesday, August 5th, all parents are required to register via PowerSchool to ensure official enrollment.
The school has established specific start dates for different grade levels. For students in grades 1 through 6, classes will begin on Thursday, August 20th.
Kindergarten start dates are split by last name. Students with last names A through L will start on August 25th, while those with last names M through Z will begin on August 26th. All kindergarten students will be in school by August 27th.
To complete registration, the administration instructs parents to visit the PowerSchool website using the district code TBHB. Parents should log into their accounts and navigate to the forms tab to fill out all necessary documentation. HMK secretaries are available to assist with password resets if needed.
The school is also welcoming Grand Preschool to HMK this year, though specific registration details and start dates for preschool will be released at a later date.
Once teachers are assigned, classroom material lists can be found at HMK.grandschools.org under the Parents tab. The administration encourages parents to use the PowerSchool app on smartphones or tablets to monitor student grades, absences, and lunch balances.
