Closed Roads for Seal Coat Project Progress CommunityHealth & SafetyInfrastructure September 9, 2026 Save Stay Informed, Stay Safe The City’s annual Seal Coat Project is underway, and crews will be working through several neighborhoods over the next two weeks to help extend the life of our roads. Seal coating protects asphalt from sun, water, and everyday wear, keeping our streets smoother and saving the City money on bigger repairs down the road. To get the job done right, crews need the pavement clear, so we’re asking residents in the affected areas to plan ahead for no on-street parking or driving on their scheduled day. A few tips for a smooth process Move cars into driveways or garages the night before your street’s scheduled date. Watch for temporary signage and cones marking the work zone. Freshly sealed asphalt needs time to cure, so please stay off the surface until it’s ready for traffic again.
