The Heber Valley Chamber named Daniels Summit Lodge as the Business of the Month for August 2026. This recognition was announced on August 26 and honors the business for its outstanding hospitality, commitment to tourism, and community involvement in the Heber Valley.
Daniels Summit Lodge is a family-owned property that began with a restaurant, store, gift shop, and snowmobile rentals established by founders Brent and Audrey Hill. In 1998, the business added a hotel to its operations. For nearly three decades, the lodge has maintained a focus on personal relationships and a culture where employees are treated like family.
General Manager Becky Loveless, a lifelong Heber Valley resident, has been with the lodge for ten years. Loveless transitioned from the snowmobile rental shop into hotel operations and her current leadership role. She noted that the Chamber serves as a valuable resource for information regarding the valley.
The lodge provides seasonal activities, including winter snowmobiling on 26 miles of groomed trails and summer activities such as hiking, UTV riding, wildlife viewing, horseback riding, hunting, and fishing. The property also offers access to Strawberry Reservoir via back roads.
On-site amenities include a restaurant with an American menu and a year-round general store offering souvenirs, gifts, and outdoor gear.
Daniels Summit Lodge remains an active member of the Heber Valley Chamber. The lodge continues to serve as a year-round destination for travelers seeking mountain experiences in Utah.
