A series of tragic events has shaken the town of Torrey, Utah, following the discovery of three women deceased in separate locations, according to a report published August 27.
Emergency dispatchers received a call on a Wednesday afternoon reporting two women found dead on a hiking trail in Wayne County. A subsequent investigation revealed a third woman had been found dead inside a home.
The victims' identities have not been disclosed by authorities. The women ranged in age from her thirties to her eighties.
Investigators are focusing on a white 2022 Subaru Outback with Utah license plate U560YF, which is potentially linked to the deaths. Authorities have requested public assistance in locating the vehicle.
In response to the incident, the Wayne County School District canceled classes for the remainder of the week to prioritize student and public safety. Counselors will be made available to support students upon their return.
