The Herriman City Council is scheduled to hold a regular session on September 23, 2026, according to a notice published September 17. The meeting will consist of a work meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by a general meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers.
The work meeting will include a review of the agenda, discussions on future agenda items, and a discussion regarding future citizen recognitions. Administrative reports are also scheduled, including a city status report for August 2026 and a review of general fund projects, both to be presented by Assistant to the City Manager Trevor Ram. Additionally, City Manager Nathan Cherpeski will discuss legislative priorities for 2027, and officials will discuss a proposed amendment to Herriman City Ordinance 5-1-11 regarding identification requirements.
The general meeting agenda includes a Herriman Police Department oath of office and badge pinning ceremony. Discussion and action items include a consideration of an amendment to Title 10 of the Herriman City Code regarding allowed uses in commercial, mixed-use, and manufacturing zoning districts. The council will also consider an agreement with the Affordable Housing Infrastructure Grant Board regarding funding for public infrastructure to support owner-occupied, attainable housing.

The council may also convene in a closed session to discuss matters such as litigation or real property as permitted by Utah Code Annotated §52-4-205.
