The Hurricane City Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on September 24, 2026, to take community comments on two specific land use requests. The meeting will take place at the Hurricane City Office, located at 147 N 870 West, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The hearing will address a Zone Change Amendment request for the property at 1024 N Main St. The request proposes changing the zoning from R1-10, which allows one residential unit per 10,000 square feet, to R1-8, allowing one unit per 8,000 square feet.
