The Utah County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, to consider several budgetary matters, according to a notice issued August 31.
The hearing is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at the Utah County Administration Building, located at 100 East Center Street, Room 1400, in Provo. The meeting will address amending budgets for the County's general fund and various other budgetary funds.
In addition to budget amendments, officials will consider revisions to the County's estimates of revenues and revisions to the budget appropriations of county departments. The Board may also consider transferring unencumbered or unexpected appropriation balances from one department in a fund to another department within the same fund.
Following the public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners may proceed to amend the 2026 County general fund budget and other budgetary funds, revise revenue estimates, adjust department appropriations, or transfer unencumbered or unexpended appropriation balances between departments in a fund.
