Harmful algal bloom advisories were in effect for Utah Lake and several other water bodies in Utah County, according to a notice from the Utah County Health Department.
The advisories included a danger advisory for Lindon Marina and a warning advisory for Utah Lake lake-wide, Salem Pond South Arm, Salem Pond Knoll Beach, the Lower Jordan River, Big East Lake, and McClellan Lake.
A health watch was also in effect for Fifth Water Hot Springs.
Individuals seeking additional information or ongoing recreational water quality updates can visit the DEQ Recreational Water Quality website. The DEQ website can also be used to check current conditions for specific water bodies before visiting.
