A public hearing regarding a zone change application has been scheduled by the Kanab City Planning Commission. The hearing will focus on a proposal to rezone a parcel located approximately at 346 E 100 S in Kanab City.
According to a public notice, the application seeks to change the zoning of Parcel K-228-3 from R-1-8, which is a single-family zone requiring an 8,000 sq. ft. minimum, to RM, a multi-family zone. If the zone change is approved, the intended future plan is to sell each side of the duplex individually.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 6:30 PM. It will take place in the Kanab City Council Chambers, located within the Kanab City Complex at 26 N. 100 E. Kanab, Utah. Interested persons may appear at the scheduled time and place to be heard.
