Centennial Middle School has released its schedule for the final week of school, which concludes on Friday, May 22. While the week will follow regular start and end times, an early release is scheduled for Friday.
Mid-week schedule adjustments
Adjusted bell schedules will be in effect on Wednesday, May 20, and Thursday, May 21, to accommodate the Centennial’s Got Talent program, field day activities, and PACK lessons. On Friday, May 22, an end-of-year farewell activity is scheduled from 12:07 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., allowing students to sign yearbooks and say goodbye to teachers.
Early dismissal and checkout procedures
School officials requested that families be mindful of these schedules when checking students out early, as locating students during school-wide activities may take additional time. Students are expected to remain within school activity boundaries until dismissal at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
Chromebook returns and grading information
Other important end-of-term tasks include Chromebook returns, which are scheduled for Monday, May 18, and Tuesday, May 19. Additionally, families are encouraged to review student grades and contact teachers with questions before the term ends. Grades will be finalized shortly after Memorial Day.
NWEA academic report delivery
End-of-year NWEA academic reports are expected to be mailed home by May 22. If a report is not received, it may indicate the student did not complete the assessment before printing.
Summer office hours and closures
The school's main office and counseling office will operate on modified summer hours starting May 26, with both offices closed on Fridays through June 11. Regular office hours are scheduled to resume on August 3.
District summer lunch program details
Separately, the Provo School District will provide a free Summer Lunch Program at several locations, including Franklin, Provo Peaks, and Provo High, from June 1 through July 16.
