North Salt Lake will host a free Circle of Security parenting workshop designed for families with children between 4 months and 6 years old, according to a September 3 statement.
The workshop aims to teach parents how to help children recognize and organize emotions to fill their emotional cup. The program focuses on helping parents embrace the fact that children borrow a parent's calm until they can build their own.
The free classes were scheduled to take place on Thursdays from Sept. 24 through Nov. 19 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at City Hall.
Participants can learn how to become bigger, stronger, wiser, and kind for their children. Because space is limited, interested individuals can register at https://www.dbhutah.org/.
