Nebo School District is rallying around the theme Be That Friend as a new school year begins, according to a notice on the district's website. Superintendent Rick Nielsen joined Lindsey Hughes and Seth to introduce the theme.
In Spanish Fork, agriscience teacher Kaylee Stone was named a National Agriscience Teacher Ambassador after completing the 23rd annual National Association of Agricultural Educators NNAE program. Additionally, 8th-grade student Kailey Graham earned first place in the fashion category at the National FCCLA Conference in Washington, D.C., which was held July 6–10.
Salem Hills Agriculture students participated in a summer of leadership retreats, COLT training, field trips, and workshops. Meanwhile, the Gear Up For School event was held at Landmark High School on August 1, 2026, through Tabitha's Way to provide backpacks to school-aged children.
The district has also announced that free and reduced lunch applications are open for the 26-27 school year via the LINQ app.
