Join us as we celebrate the inaugural Brian Head Days! Spend two unforgettable days at Utah’s highest town enjoying outdoor adventures, live entertainment, delicious food, family activities, community traditions, and spectacular evening shows. Whether you’re a resident or visiting for the weekend, there’s something for everyone!

Season-Long Event

Brian Head Fishing Derby

May through September 30, 2026

Cast your line and you could reel in more than just a fish! Catch a tagged trout and win exciting prizes—including two tagged fish worth $250 each! Grab your fishing gear and enjoy one of Brian Head’s favorite summer traditions.

Cost: Valid Utah Fishing License Required

Friday • July 24, 2026

8:00 AM – Manzanita Trail Guided Hike

Location: Manzanita Trailhead (Aspen Drive)

Start your morning with a beautiful guided hike through Brian Head’s mountain scenery. Along the way, enjoy complimentary breakfast burritos served at the Manzanita Overlook while taking in breathtaking alpine views.

Cost: FREE

9:00 AM – Brian Head Arbor Day Celebration

Location: Bristlecone Park Pavilion

Help make Brian Head even greener! Certified Arborist Ryan Johnson will present a short program on proper tree planting and care before volunteers help plant 25 new trees around Bristlecone Park, the pond, and walking trail. Pre-dug planting holes, refreshments, and all supplies will be provided.

10:00 AM – 6:00 PM – Village Way Vendor Fair

Location: The Mall on Village Way

Browse local vendors, artisan crafts, unique gifts, and delicious food trucks throughout the day. Shop local while enjoying the festive atmosphere in the heart of Brian Head.

Cost: FREE Admission

11:00 AM – Fly Fishing Demonstration & Lessons

Location: Bristlecone Pond Pavilion

Learn the art of fly fishing with Shawn from Fremont River Guides. Following the demonstration, guests will have the opportunity to try fly fishing using provided equipment with one-on-one instruction.

Cost: FREE

1:00 PM – Paddleboard Races

Location: Bristlecone Pond

Think you’ve got what it takes? Race across Bristlecone Pond for bragging rights and trophies! Paddleboards and life jackets will be provided.

Awards: Trophies for Winners

Cost: FREE

Parent or guardian signature required for participants under 18.

2:00 PM – Beer Garden & Live Music

Location: Village Way Vendor Fair

Relax with an ice-cold beverage while enjoying live music and exploring the vendor fair.

Cost: FREE Admission

Valid ID required for entry into the beer garden.

5:00 PM – Line Dancing with Big Iron

Location: Bristlecone Park Pavilion

Kick up your boots! The first hour features beginner-friendly lessons followed by two hours of dancing for everyone. Bring the whole family and enjoy an evening of country fun.

6:00 PM – Sunset Chairlift Rides

Location: Giant Steps Base Area

Experience Brian Head from above with a breathtaking sunset ride aboard the Giant Steps Chairlift.

Cost: $15 per person

Dusk – Fireworks Spectacular

Location: Bristlecone Pond

End the evening with one of Brian Head’s favorite traditions! Enjoy a spectacular fireworks display presented by the Brian Head Fire Department.

Saturday • July 25, 2026

8:00 AM – 5K Run Through the Decades

Location: Giant Steps North Parking Lot

Celebrate Brian Head’s history while challenging yourself at nearly 10,000 feet elevation! Dress in your favorite decade-themed attire and enjoy one of Utah’s highest 5K races.

Pre-Registration: $20 (includes event T-shirt)

Day of Event: $30

10:00 AM – 6:00 PM – Village Way Vendor Fair Continues

Return for another day of shopping, food, entertainment, and family fun.

11:00 AM – Brian Head Memorial Park Flag Raising Ceremony

Location: Bear Flat Pump House (Water Wheel House), North Village Way

Honor those who have served our nation and community during this special dedication ceremony celebrating the Brian Head Memorial Park and recognizing our Armed Forces and Public Safety personnel.

Cost: FREE

Noon – Volunteer Firefighters BBQ Lunch

Location: Bristlecone Park Pavilion

Support the Brian Head Volunteer Fire Department while enjoying a delicious lunch.

Meal Includes:

• Hamburger or Hot Dog

• Chips

• Drink

Brian Head Fire Department T-shirts will also be available for purchase.

Cost: $5 per plate

2:00 PM – Brian Head Resort Beer Garden & Live Music

Location: Giant Steps Patio

Enjoy live music, mountain views, and refreshing beverages hosted by Brian Head Resort.

Admission: $10 online | $15 at the door

2:00 PM – Village Way Live Music & Beer Garden

The fun continues at the Vendor Fair with more live entertainment, local vendors, and refreshing beverages.

Cost: FREE Admission

Valid ID required to purchase alcohol.

5:00 PM – Flip-N-Out FMX Freestyle Motocross Stunt Show

Location: Giant Steps Parking Lot

329 South Highway 143

Prepare to be amazed as professional freestyle motocross riders perform gravity-defying tricks and aerial stunts during Brian Head Days’ featured attraction!

Cost: FREE

7:30 PM – OHV & SXS Parade

Route: Steam Engine Drive to Highway 143

Watch dozens of decorated OHVs and Side-by-Sides cruise through town in this exciting evening parade.

Cost: FREE

Dusk (Approximately 9:30 PM) – Drone Light Show Finale

Location: Bristlecone Park

Close out the inaugural Brian Head Days with an incredible drone light show illuminating the night sky.

Important Parking Notice:

No parking will be permitted in the Chair #1 Parking Lot during the drone show due to safety closures.
