To complete the registration, students must follow a multi-step process. First, applicants must select and book a test session from the available options. Upon booking, students will receive a confirmation email containing specific test session details, a Booking Reference Code, and a link to return to the site to finalize payment. The final step requires the student to enter their unique Booking Reference Code to complete the transaction.
Testing Locations and Scoring
Testing for the ACT Residual is conducted at two distinct locations depending on the selected session. At the Davis/Layton Campus, testing is held at the Davis Testing Center located in Stewart Center, Room 231. At the Ogden Campus, testing takes place at the Student Services Testing Center in Room 260.
Weber State University stated that ACT scores from these sessions will be reported directly to WSU Admissions within two weeks of the testing date. These score reports are exclusive to the university; they cannot be sent to any other institution or agency, and students will not receive their scores via mail or email.
Fees and Cancellation Policy
The cost for ACT Residual registration is $80.00 per session. Students can request to have their payment applied to a future testing date or request a refund, though a $10 fee applies to all cancellations or rescheduling requests.
Test Day Requirements
Students appearing for the ACT Residual must arrive at the testing center at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. The university provides a checklist of required items for test day, which includes a valid government ID, a current student ID, or a notarized ACT Student Identification Form.
Additional requirements for test day include sharpened No. 2 pencils, an approved calculator, and the payment receipt or confirmation email, which is accepted in both digital and printed formats. Students are also advised to bring a snack or drink for the break and should review the ACT prohibited behavior list and campus parking information prior to arrival.
