The Midvale City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, to consider a zoning code text amendment, according to a notice published August 18.
The proposed amendment involves updating Utah State Code references in Title 17 and was previously discussed during a Midvale City Planning Commission meeting on Aug. 12, 2026.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. and is expected to conclude by 10:30 p.m. Residents may attend the meeting in person at Midvale City Hall, located at 7505 S. Holden Street, or participate electronically with an anchor location at City Hall.
Public comments regarding the hearing items can be delivered in person during the meeting, submitted electronically through the Agendas and Minutes webpage, or sent via email to planning@midvaleut.gov. Electronic submissions must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Aug. 31, 2026, to be included in the official record.
