As the school year enters April, Christine Whatcott noted that students are entering an important and exciting stretch of the year. The administration message highlighted that spring brings renewed energy and provides an opportunity for students to finish the year with strength.
Consistent attendance and continued hard work were identified as factors that make a tremendous difference during these final months. The school expressed appreciation for the partnership of families in helping students arrive at school ready to learn.
The administration extended thanks to families and the community for an incredible Teacher Appreciation Week. According to the message, staff members felt loved, valued, and supported due to the kindness, notes, treats, and thoughtful gestures provided by the community.
Whatcott stated that the positive culture at the school exists because of the students and families, expressing gratitude for being part of a supportive community.
Following spring break, the state testing window will begin. This period is described as an opportunity for students to demonstrate what they have learned and accomplished throughout the year.
To support student success during testing, families are encouraged to ensure students arrive at school on time, well-rested, and with a healthy breakfast so they are ready to focus.
