Utah State University's Logan Hammer secured a silver medal in the pole vault at the NCAA outdoor track and field championships in Eugene, Oregon, setting a personal best of 5.75 meters to conclude his collegiate career.

Hammer, the all-time record holder for Utah State, finished second behind Nebraska's Dyson Wicker, who cleared 5.85 meters to take the national title, according to KSLTV reporting.
BYU athletes set new records
At the same championships, BYU's Carter Cutting set a new school record in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 3:35.95. Cutting, who previously held the indoor mile program record, advanced to the finals scheduled for Friday. Additionally, BYU's Ben Barton led the decathlon after the first event by winning the 100-meter dash, high jump, and 400-meter run.
Maeser Prep announces administrative changes
Maeser Preparatory School announced several administrative updates for the summer period. The school is phasing in a new logo on all newly purchased uniforms, with middle school requirements to be met by the 2027-28 school year and high school uniforms by the 2029-30 school year.

Families can currently request $50 digital gift codes for Tommy Hilfiger school uniforms via email, valid through September 30, 2026. The school also noted that summer online classes are optional and must be paid for by students directly through approved providers.
