The Timpanogos School District Board of Education scheduled three consecutive public hearings for September 9, 2026, to receive public comment regarding potential grade configurations for several schools, according to a August 28 notice.
The hearings are scheduled to take place at 350 N State St, Lindon, UT 84042, in the Special Education Building. If the Board approves the changes, the new grade configurations would take effect starting in the 2026-27 school year.
The first hearing at 6:00 PM will consider a 9th-12th grade configuration for Mountain View High School, Orem High School, Pleasant Grove High School, and Timpanogos High School.
A second hearing, scheduled for 6:05 PM or later, will consider 6th-8th or 7th-8th grade configurations for Canyon View Junior High School, Lakeridge Junior High School, Oak Canyon Junior High School, Orem Junior High School, and Pleasant Grove Junior High School.
A third hearing, scheduled for 6:10 PM or later, will consider a K-5th grade configuration for several elementary schools, including Aspen, Bonneville, Cascade, Centennial, Central, Cherry Hill, Foothill, Grovecrest, Lindon, Manila, Mount Mahogany, Northridge, Orchard, Orem, Parkside, Rocky Mountain, Trailside, Vineyard, Westmore, and Windsor elementary schools.
