The Orem Planning Commission released an agenda in a report published Sept. 14 detailing upcoming meetings scheduled for Sept. 16, 2026. The session will include a work session at 4:30 p.m. and a regular session at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
The agenda review during the work session includes a discussion regarding the Active Transportation Map. The regular session will address the approval of meeting minutes from Sept. 2, 2026, and Aug. 5, 2026.
One action item involves a request for condominiumization of townhomes in the Shelly Lane subdivision. This property is located generally at 750 N 100 West in the R6 zone.
Two public hearings are scheduled for the meeting. The first involves a request to rezone a property located generally at 1075 South 1675 West from CM (Controlled Manufacturing) to M1 (Light Manufacturing). The property is approximately 9.29 acres and is referred to as the Wolverine rezone.
The second public hearing concerns the Hale Center text amendment. This request seeks to modify the PD-13 zone and adopt a new Concept Plan for the property located generally at 225 West 400 North, which is approximately 2.42 acres.
