Advanced Placement testing will be conducted between May 4 and May 15. Students must adhere to specific arrival times, with morning exams beginning at 7:15 AM and afternoon exams beginning at 11:45 AM. Officials noted that arriving early is important as late students may not be admitted to their exams.
Testing will take place in various locations including the North Gym, Wrestling Room, and Room C206.
Students are required to bring only approved items to the exam room. Having prohibited items may result in dismissal, confiscation, or the cancellation of scores.
Approved items include a watch that is not a smartwatch, photo ID for those not attending the testing school, up to two approved calculators if allowed for the specific exam, pens and pencils, and a fully charged device with Bluebook installed. Other permitted items include charging cords, power banks that are visible for inspection, and PPE such as masks based on school policy.
Prohibited items include phones, smartwatches, wearable tech, unauthorized electronic devices like laptops or cameras, Bluetooth devices, headphones, and electronic writing tools such as Apple Pencils. Students should also not bring books, notes, study guides, dictionaries, mechanical pencils, or food and drinks to the testing area.
The testing schedule includes several subjects across two weeks. The first week features exams such as Biology on May 4, Human Geography and Chemistry on May 5, English Literature and Physics 1 on May 6, World History and Statistics on May 7, and US History and Chinese Language on May 8.
The second week includes Calculus AB and BC, Music Theory, and Seminar on May 11. French Language and Pre-Calculus are scheduled for May 12, followed by English Language and German Language on May 13. The final days include Spanish Language and Art History on May 14, and Environmental Science and Computer Science A on May 15.
Students facing testing conflicts should speak with their teacher as soon as possible, as late exams may be available in some cases, though most late exams cost $50. For digital exams, students are reminded to know their MyAP login information and practice using the Bluebook app before test day.
Snacks will be provided during breaks.
