A group of 21 seniors recently graduated from UVU with an Associate’s Degree. This achievement, along with three students earning a General Education Certificate of Completion, represents a milestone that has not been reached before.
The students successfully managed the rigor of Distance Education, Concurrent Enrollment, and AP courses.
The success of these students was attributed to the support of teachers, counselors, social workers, and staff. Teachers were noted for pushing students toward college-level standards, while staff helped students navigate challenges to stay on track.
Lissa Pulver and Anneka Boy were specifically thanked for providing accurate guidance and helping students map out their pathways.
One student's journey involved arriving in the U.S. four years ago and starting in ELD 1. After learning about the Associate’s Degree late in her junior year, she successfully completed the program with help from her team.
Following graduation, these students are moving on to colleges located in Utah, Arizona, and New Hampshire.
