The Emery County Chamber has released the 2026 Emery County Fair schedule. The lineup includes a variety of community events, competitions, and exhibitions scheduled throughout July and August.
Pre-fair events included a Miss Emery Golf Tournament at Millsite, the Miss Emery Rodeo Queen Contest, a Team Barrel Race at the Indoor Arena, and a free swim day with diving prizes at the Aquatic Center.
Activities scheduled for July 29 included exhibit hall drop-off at the Rec Center and a Special Little Luau at the Aquatic Center, which serves as an appreciation day for individuals with special needs and disabilities and their families.
On July 30, the schedule featured exhibit hall judging and fresh exhibit drop-off at the Rec Center, animal exhibits at the Indoor Arena, a senior citizen lunch and bingo at the Pavilion, and a lamb fry at the concessions stand. The evening included a production titled Echoes from the Past and a cow patty bingo at the Outdoor Arena.
The schedule for July 31 included a wiffleball tournament at Cheddar Field, animal exhibits, free wagon rides, and various vendors. Other events included a battle of the babies, battlefield games at the baseball field, a pet show, and a flag retirement ceremony. The day concluded with a cowboy's memorial rodeo and a patriotic firework show at the fairgrounds.
On August 1, the schedule featured the Rebellion Run at Swell Retreat, a parade on Castle Dale Main Street, and the Trucks n' Tunes Car Show at the baseball field. Other scheduled activities included a cornhole tournament, a rabbit and chicken show, and a concert featuring Kaleb Austin at the Pavilion.
