Park City Mountain is scheduled to open for the 2025-26 winter season on Friday, December 5. The nation's largest ski and snowboard resort will offer access to at least 195 acres of terrain across the Mountain Village and Canyons Village base areas.
The resort is introducing several upgrades, including the new 10-person Sunrise Gondola at Canyons Village. This investment is intended to increase uphill capacity and reduce line times for guests exploring the resort's 7,300+ acres of terrain.
A new beginner zone called Moose Camp will open near the Red Pine Lodge. Designed for young skiers and riders, the area features two magic carpets and a new kids' lunchroom integrated into the learning zone.
Other on-mountain improvements include a refreshed Summit House Lodge designed by Jasmine Roth and upgrades to the snowmaking system, which involved replacing or adding more than 2,000 feet of snowmaking pipe.
Park City Mountain will operate daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the season. The resort also announced that the first two levels of the new Canyons Lower Village Garage will be available for guest use.
Signature events for the season include the Canyons Village Torchlight Parade on December 24, a fireworks celebration on New Year's Eve, and the Pond Skim on April 11.
Epic Passes for the season are available for purchase through December 4. The resort's operations and lift access remain subject to snowfall and weather conditions.
