Davis High School has released the schedule for upcoming girls tennis tryouts, which are set to take me place on July 27 and July 28. Prospective athletes must pre-register before participating in the tryout process.
Pre-registration requirements
To obtain the necessary link for the pre-registration form, individuals should contact Coach Ryne Hazen via email. The form must be completed and submitted prior to the start of tryouts.
First practice and early matches
Following tryouts, the first official practice is scheduled for July 31. The preseason match schedule includes several upcoming contests against local schools.
Upcoming preseason match details
On August 3, Davis High will face Woods Cross at WoodX at 9:00am. This will be followed by a match against Westfield High on August 5 at 11:00am. On August 10, the team is scheduled to play Bountiful High at Bountiful with the time to be determined.
Cache Valley Invitational details
A varsity-only competition, the Cache Valley Invitational, will take place on August 11 at Green Canyon High.
Late season tournament schedule
The preseason schedule continues with a match against Bonneville High on August 14 at 9:00am. Later in the season, the team will participate in the St. George Invitational Tournament on September 11 and 12.
The J.V. Region Tournament is scheduled for September 26 at Farmington High School, with the time still to be determined.
