As the school year enters its final stretch, Principal Blanton is urging families at Amelia Earhart to prioritize attendance and punctuality. According to the principal, even small amounts of missed instruction or late arrivals can impact a student's ability to perform well on end-of-year assessments and feel confident.
Being present each day ensures students do not miss essential instruction, practice opportunities, or support from teachers.
The school community also recognized the efforts of the School Community Council (SCC) and the PTA. The SCC has worked to finalize the Trustland funding plan for the 2026-27 school year, a process intended to support student learning.
Additionally, the principal expressed gratitude toward the PTA for their role in organizing events and supporting students and staff at Amelia.
