A notice posted to the Ogden City website announced an emergency water shutdown for 947 Canyon Rd. in Pearwood Park Estates because a pipeline requires immediate repair.
The shutdown affects hydrants in the area and was estimated to have service restoration by 12:00 PM on August 31, 2026.
Residents may experience discolored water as a result of the shutdown. To address this, officials recommend running a cold water faucet in a bathtub until the water clears to help flush home water lines.
It is recommended that residents do not use hot water or wash light-colored laundry until the water runs clear. Once emergency repairs are complete, water crews will flush lines in the area. Residents should notify officials if discolored water continues.
