A new summer STEM Camp opportunity has been announced for 4th and 5th grade students within the Provo City School District. Held in partnership with Provo City, the program aims to provide an experience similar to Camp Big Springs.
The camp is scheduled to take place from June 1–4, 2026. The cost for the program is $150 per student, and registration is currently open.
During the four-day program, students will participate in STEM experiments led by certified school teachers. These activities will be held in various outdoor park spaces, including Big Springs Park, Rock Canyon Park, Delta Gateway Park, and the Provo Recreation Center.
The camp includes lunches and swag for participants. To register, families can use the Youth Summer Camp link and search for STEM Camp (Partnership with Provo School District).
Priority registration during the first week of enrollment will be given to 5th grade students. Organizers expressed gratitude for the partnership, noting that the program combines science, exploration, and outdoor fun.
