The Provo City School District (PCSD) has announced the agenda for its upcoming meetings scheduled for June 23, 2026. The sessions will include a 4:00 p.m. study session, a 6:00 p.m. public hearing regarding budgets, and a subsequent business meeting.

Study session agenda details
During the 4:00 p.m. study session, board member Lisa Boyce is scheduled to present training regarding effective superintendent evaluations. The session also includes discussions on the real estate consultant process, end of year data, and an update on the Elementary DLI and Boundary Committee.
Large purchase requests review
Several large purchase requests exceeding $50,000 are slated for review. These include skylights for Amelia Earhart, intercom updates for Provo High, Rock Canyon, Sunset View, and Provost, as well as curb and gutter replacements at Canyon Crest.
Policy reviews and updates
Superintendent Wendy Dau will present policy reviews. First readings will cover new policies regarding CPR training, parent access, and updates to policies on animals in schools and sex education. Second readings will involve several policies related to employee associations, wage deductions, leave, transfers, reduction in force, religious neutrality, and a drug-free workplace, as well as new policies for student internships and health care occupation programs.
Budget hearing and nutrition costs
The 6:00 p.m. public hearing will focus on the final FY26 budget and the proposed FY27 budget. The board will also consider an increase in child nutrition meal costs. Public comment for the budget hearing is scheduled to take place during this session.
Business meeting agenda items
The business meeting will follow the public hearing. This portion of the meeting will include a pledge of allegiance led by Deputy Superintendent Jason Cox. The business meeting agenda includes additional reviews of large purchase requests and various policy items, alongside a period for public input.
