Halloween in Logan, Utah, is a community affair that transforms Cache Valley into a month-long celebration throughout October. The season features various activities ranging from downtown treat walks and a witches' dance on Center Street to pumpkin displays that attract tens of thousands of visitors.
The season includes several scheduled events in the Logan area. A free outdoor screening of Coco was scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026, at Carol and Jim Laub Plaza as part of the Cinema Under the Stars series. The following day, the Center Street Giant Pumpkin Festival was scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, featuring a pumpkin weigh-off by the Utah Giant Pumpkin Growers association.
Downtown Logan's Halloween Treat Walk, a 21-year tradition, was scheduled for Friday, October 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., involving more than 60 participating businesses. Another major local tradition is the Broomsticks & Boogie festival on Center Street, which features the Witches Dance performed by the Hocus Pocus Witches. This event has received recognition from the Utah Recreation and Parks Association.
Regional attractions include the North Logan Pumpkin Walk, which takes place at Elk Ridge Park and Green Canyon High School. Now in its 43rd year, the 2026 walk was scheduled for October 15–17 and 19–20. In Wellsville, the American West Heritage Center hosts the Fall Harvest Festival and corn maze on October 9 and 10, 2026.
Other local attractions include the Cache Valley Straw Maze in Richmond, which operates as a haunted attraction on weekend nights in October. The 10th West Scare House in Logan also operates on Thursday through Saturday nights throughout October. Additionally, the Historic Downtown Ghost Tour, held in partnership with the Bridgerland Storytelling Guild, offers guided walking tours on Friday and Saturday nights in October.
Beyond these marquee events, the Logan City Police Department and various local businesses and churches host trunk-or-treat events. The season is characterized by community involvement, from neighborhood pumpkin carving to local business participation in seasonal traditions.
