Canyon Crest has entered the final stretch of the school year, celebrating a period of growth for students, teachers, and families. A schedule of upcoming events has been released covering the next two weeks of activities.
Several field trips and assemblies are scheduled for mid-May. On May 13, second grade will participate in a field trip to Classic Skating, and the BYU Traditionz assembly is set for 2:00pm.
On May 14, fourth grade will go on a field trip to SLC, while sixth grade will visit The REC Center. Other events on May 14 include the ROAR Assembly at 9:30am and a PTA Meeting in Room 12 at 10:00am.
The mid-May schedule continues with the 4th Grade Rendezvous and the 6th Grade Gala on May 15, with the gala beginning at 6:00 PM.
Graduation ceremonies are also approaching, with Kindergarten Graduation scheduled for May 18 at 10:00 AM in the gym, followed by 6th Grade Graduation on May 19 at 9:30am. Additionally, the 4th Grade Frontier Day will take place on May 19 at 10:20 AM.
Field Days are scheduled for May 20 for grades K–2 starting at 9:30am, and May 21 for grades 3–5 starting at 9:30am. The School Community Council Meeting will be held on May 20 at 3:40 PM. The last day of school is scheduled for May 22.
