Taylorsville has announced the Boo Dash, a family-friendly Halloween fun run held at Valley Regional Park. According to a notice on the city's website, the event is open to all ages and encourages participants to wear Halloween costumes.
The event features a 2K route where registered participants can collect treats from various stations. Each registered individual receives a race-specific trick-or-treat bag to facilitate gathering surprises along the course.
Registration for the event is $5 per family or group of up to six members, with payments required online to receive bags at pick-up. Groups larger than six members are asked to complete two registrations.
The race is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, at 10 a.m. at Valley Regional Park, located at 5100 S. 2700 West. Participants may collect their race-specific bags in the parking area between 9:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.
